*G* I'm glad you liked it! I'm honestly not sure if I'll do a follow-up which includes their discussion - I hadn't planned on it - but I'll consider it. Thanks for reading!

Oh my goodness. You are simply amazing. I mean, as a Finn/Rachel story, this is gorgeous, and I'm so sad for the years they lost that they could've been together - because obviously, as I keep saying, they're ridiculously epic, and I love it - but as a writer...oh, wow. The way you use and weave words, it's just stunning. I'm truly impressed. Bravo!

*Blushes* Thanks ever so much. It's been ages since I've really written fic, so it's nice to jump back onto the scene to such lovely feedback!

*Beams* Glad you liked what I did with your storage closet ^_~

And, well, once Rachel makes up her mind about something she sets forward full steam ahead - it's just the way she's wired. Things aren't fixed, by any means, but there's a degree of possibility there that didn't exist when she first stepped off the plane.

BTW, random, but how big do you see fictional Lima, OH? Because the real one is 40K and has 7 high schools, and I've been trying to decide how it compares to the fictional...

You know, upon reflection, I think that with Rachel it's as much a defense mechanism as a pre-wired personality trait, but it all boils down to the same thing by the time she's in high school or afterwards.

Now, the real question is whether or not I write a follow-up piece...

I think that what you're describing is pretty much what the real Lima, OH *is* - it's a factory town, at least to a degree (they have two large factories, one of which my dad apparently used to do some coordination work with when he worked for P&G), with a lot of suburban build-up which emerged in the 50's/60's. No major city centre, per se, although there are periodic strip malls, and just enough population to have kids from the North Side not know kids from the East Side or the South Side. As a size indicator, the actual Lima is about half the size of Appleton - does that sound about right for fake!Lima?
