Ok, so at the moment I am literally in the middle of nowhere. I'm sitting in a communications hut(room full of phone lines, networking gear and servers) at a place called Challenger. We are going to be taking over support for all their IT systems. Was up there doing an audit of all their hardware and software and analysing how its all setup etc. They currently are getting support from a company in Perth that they aren't overly happy with, plus the time difference is a killer.

Definately the time of year, I'll be back at the mine again in a couple of weeks...

Lovely part of the world, isn't it? And I agree with you about small planes... you get off of one, having survived, and wonder why the hell man thought he was ever capable of flight in the first place. Bleeagh.

Yup, funnily enough there's no mobile coverage out there ;)

Meh, the flying this time wasn't that bad. The flight on the way back was actually quite smooth compared to what one of the guys at the mine said it would be. Anyway, I have no fear of flying, a bit disconcerting when the plane bounces on take off though!
