Re: the Murdoch coverage - yes, the whole pie thing/his wife Wendi Deng's reaction was kind of funny. But man, I hate that it happened. There's a new flash game called Budget Hero that's getting some attention, considering the Debt Ceiling clusterfuck. I've seen a little bit of Hawaii 5-0 during the summer rerun season and, okay, that's pretty slashy, I could get into this show. It's appropriate that it's a remake, because both it and the fandom feel a bit like throwbacks - it's a big dumb slashy cop show, and the fandom's about 90% mushiness about the m/m OTP. So, hello, f-list! I am currently in Shanghai, after spending nearly a week in China. Heading out tonight to Vietnam for the hanging-out-at-the-beach portion of the trip, after the previous portion spent on cultural tourism. I just worked out the timing on my return path from my upcoming trip, and! Between the 4 flights and associated layovers, it will take approximately 36 hours. WHAT HAVE I DONE.
I will be in coach on all of these flights, of course. Oh man. I will be longing for death by the time I get home.
