Post-Christmas thoughts

The plan for today was to see The Last Jedi, but I woke up really tired and thought 2.5+ hours in the dark would be not the best decision. So hopefully, cinema tomorrow instead. There are more screenings on New Year's Day, so it doesn't matter as much if I'm tired in the morning

A nice low key holiday sounds perfect and, as you know, it is what we are doing. I must remind myself to keep checking the cinema here for Star Wars as we only get the film for a day or two and I do not want to drive to Örebro to see it.

Your comment about your local cinema reminds me of when I lived off Cowley Road in Oxford, where there was a little local cinema five minutes walk from the house. Similarly, any big movies they bought were only shown two-three days, and every month they had four main movies (often quality/less blockbuster movies) and lots of occasional screenings. I much prefered to go there rather than at the main cinemas in the city centre.
