This weekend I've been working at the BABAO conference in Oxford. It's been an opportunity to hear lots of interesting talks: everything from English civil war mass graves to Early Medieval diet and status to 19th century medical dissection/bodysnatcher collaborations. Meant to ask you if you were going to that conference - I think one of the American girls I was working with went. She´s just moved to Oxford with her boyfriend, I´ll have to introduce the two of you at some point.

OMG! Thanks for providing the link to the Hobbit Foot Baby Booties -- I've been racking my brain for a present to a friend of mine who just had a baby, and those will be perfect!

Um, in retrospect, I see that that pattern is included. I was thinking you meant the other Hobbit socks...
