--Pre-emptive response to every "clever" nincompoop who says to me, "Man it's cold outside. So much for that global warming, huh?" This is a replacement for my former response, which was to spit in their face and push them into the snow with a sneered, "Happy Holidays."

Given what the weather has been like here recently, I'd be more inclined to give them the look that says "just how far out of your mind are you?".

It's been mid- to low-forties or above by the time I left for work just about every day so far this month, and at least twice it's been in the sixties. Cold enough for windshield frost only two days that I recall, and never below freezing by afternoon.

This in December.

Anyone who is inclined to take this as evidence *against* global warming is unequivocally lunatic. (It's not necessarily any kind of evidence for, either, but it certainly isn't evidence against.)

Every now and then, I drop by your LJ just to see whats going on....also cause I miss your rants about what fanfic should stop doing... and cause I really love 'The many lives of Xander Harris' (I have it in my memories and rec it mercilessly, but I still like to do the occasional stalking)

Just like this little bitty post, you always have something that makes me smile- or cringe, but I like both.
