Well, this season I'm hoping that Kristi Yamaguchi will win. I'm an old figure skating fan from way back. I think Jason Taylor is doing well. Mario is dancing well, but I just don't like his personality as well as Kristi's or Jason's. How about you?
I'll agree that I, too, am a fan of Kristi from her skating days. Jason is very talented, but I worry his great size will give him trouble at some point. Matlin amazes me; the fact she has done so well is a due to her partner and a great deal of work. Sadly, she is faltering with the Latin dances.
Oh, Marlee has been great! But you're right. The Latin dances require a feel for the beat, and when you can't hear the beat... well, it is amazing that she does as well as she does.
If/when you have the time and if you're willing to share, would you mind posting the recipe for the chunky cinnamon-ginger applesauce? It sounds interesting, and I absolutely lllllllove ginger.
Have fun in Minneapolis! I love the Children's Museum there, visited about 9 years ago...
Watch for a post for the applesauce recipe. It would be fun to revisit many of the Minneapolis sites. We lived for 12 years in Minnesota. I'm fortunate because a lot of the staff members of the schools I taught at in Minnesota will be at this conference. It will be fun to catch up with old friends!
Ahh I think I've had enough excitment this week already thank you. Hope your son feels better soon. Enjoy -if thats at all possible- your conference. Savine
Oooo, sorry I mentioned excitement after the week you've had. :{
My son is getting better and is looking forward to a visit to Grandma's while I'm gone. I'll be able to see some friends from when we lived in Minnesota, so I hope that at least parts of the conference will be fun (i.e. visiting the local restaurants/pubs in the evenings) :-)
