A few minutes ago, one of my students was trying to apologize for the bad start he had to his morning.  He said, "I had a bad attitude.  I lost my temperature."  Awwww...   *grins*

How cute! The "bad attitude" bit had me smiling even before the temperature revelation. They certainly have their moments, don't they?!

The bad attitude comment was making me think about how much he had matured in his communication, and then the temperature comment came. I had to work hard not to giggle hysterically.

That's wonderful. It's lovely when something like that can actually totally erase your memory of the dreadful morning behavior. :)

It was a great moment, although I had to carefully hide my laughter while thanking him for his apology. I made sure to take his mom aside to let her know that story--it's too precious to keep to myself.

Really, you sometimes lose your temperature, too? So do I. ;-)
