Well, I'm home sick today, and my 4-year-old probably has pink eye (which means that Mr. McG and I will probably get it as well).  But it does leave time for me to congratulate those people who got nominated for  sshg_awards  Round 3.  Congrats to all, but especially those on my f-list!

Thanks. I've just woken from a 3 hour nap, so I guess I made the right decision to stay home today. As for my son (poor kid), hubby took him to work with him today to try to give me some quiet time and has been trying to get him in to see the doctor, but with no luck yet. :-(

Gee, I am sorry if you get pink eye. It's supposed to be pretty contagious, isn't it? Darn!
I'm also sorry to hear you are home ill. Feel better soon.

Well, I think we caught it pretty early, so maybe we won't get it. However, it is very contagious until you've been taking the eye drops for 24 hours. So he won't be going to school tomorrow either. Then my hubby pulled his hamstring playing basketball with the guys tonight. *sigh* It's not been the best week here. Thanks for your well-wishes.

Yes, but as of Friday evening, I'm finally beginning to feel a little better. The pink eye seems under control, and even hubby's leg is doing okay. So, the week seems to be ending on a good note.
