You know... I was wondering why she was not pregnant yet. It's been three years. I hope they don't make her barren like in some legends. There are legends where Arthur has sons. Not just Mordred..

That is my hope too that Gwen doesn't end up barren as I know in the earlier ones she does have children with Arthur. The producers seem open to the idea though, so there may be hope. I say this as a fan asked them a question about it and they said, "Blimely we haven't thought about that. Maybe series 8". So who knows we may see some Pendragon babies.

Either way, this fic was born as it appeared that they haven't dealt with the whole 'its been three years and no heirs yet". And to me, I think this would be an important issue seeing as Arthur needs a heir to leave his kingdom to.

M! M! This is a great start. I'm hooked! I feel terrible for Gwen and not knowing all of what Arthur is thinking in these moments was good. It made her strain feel more real because you know she wants to please him and that's stressing her out. Keep writing this!

Oh it makes me so happy that you are liking my story so far. I have to thank Mara for suggesting to keep Arthur's feelings a little hidden for a bit. I think it just really adds to the emotions and pressures Gwen is already experiencing!

I feel for Gwen not having any children yet and I am sure Arthur is getting his share of looks also. I hope they are able to produce a child though.
