So this is the first of the Peter!ficlets I might've mentioned earlier. I wrote them mostly out of an attempt to give him some attention; turns out he's a lot harder to write than I expected. But very interesting, fersure. :D

I feel so bad for Peter! I would hug him, but he made stupid choices and doesn't DESERVE a hug because traitors don't deserve hugs.

OMG I loved this. It's so sad, and you really captured Peter's personality wonderfully. The idea of Peter being the second, and not Sirius, is different but very well-done. Overall, I felt what Peter felt, I saw what he saw, and I was brought on an emotional roller coaster in a few short paragraphs. I felt so sad for him. You have done what nobody else has been able to do; you have made me want to hug Peter and comfort him (and hopefully show that he still has one friend, there's no need for the death Eaters).

In a way, Lily is sort of responsible for Peter's betrayal, I think, because she would have brought a huge change to the Marauders. Wonderful job, Padma!
