One thing I find really addictive are those damn "sliding quarter" games (do they have an "official" name, I wonder?.)  I know you've seen them in gas stations and whatnot.  Basically, they have two platforms full of quarters (and occasionally other goodies).  The top platform slides back and forth, bottom doesn't move.  The object of the game is

Those machines always looked really stupid to me. I'd rather play the slots (you'd probably get the same frustrating results though, hehe).

I don't know, to me, at least with the quater machines there's SOME skill involved, while slots are just pure random chance.
