I saw this in the premieres show - it's spectacular! It was one of my favourite vids all weekend. It's such a brilliant study of the character. You capture her physicality flawlessly: expansive and awkwardly, tightly drawn inward at the same time.

Fantastic vid - I really, really enjoyed it.

Oh hi Becka! :-) It's nice to hear from you! I'm so happy you liked the vid at the premiers! It's a great compliment. Deb's energy and body language is amazingly nuanced indeed. It's been a pleasure to see and explore her journey through vidding. I think I might vid her again one day... or maybe her and Dexter as it's one hell of messy relationship they have.

I wish I was there at VidUKon too watching vids with you. Deb is an absolutely amazing character on tv nowhadays I think. She slays me with her emotional honesty and openness. Of course it's my personal prejudice speaking but seriously... I rarely see such a strong performance as Jennifer Carpenter manages to pull off these days and also such a story... I just hope she doesn't get raped or doesn't end up killing herself at the end. Not another Kara Thrace kind of story please...)

I wish you could have come to Vidukon too! It was great to meet you last time! I had a great conversation with brokenmnemonic about this vid and how much we wished you were there (I think I may have accused him of holding out on me for not spoiling me for your premiere's awesomeness!) :) So you were there in spirit at least!

Thanks so much! I'm happy the timing is just right for you to have seen the vid. I love Deb too. Very much. I probably watch the show for her journey more than anything else now.

And S7 was a huge hit in the chest for me in terms of Deb's storyline. What she does for Dex at the end is beyond words imo... And such a huge trauma she'll have to live with daily now. I thought her getting tricked by the Ice Truch Killer was the most horrendous thing that could happen to her once, then Lundy's death... now I was proven wrong again, there's something even worse. I'm really worried about Deb in the upcoming S8.
