Thank you for commenting! I'm so glad you enjoyed it even though you don't watch the show :-) I recently watched like a season and a half of this show and while the feelings are fresh I just had to pour them into a vid. The show has many things one could nitpick at, like fake Russian language for instance, which to me was really offputting at first (since I'm Russian :-)) ), but the characters just carry me away with their stories and I found myself not really minding some holes and breaches that much because of that.

And also... the song is very beautiful, I had to vid it, it's like straight from my heart :-)

Да теперь фан. У меня начало тоже не пошло. Посмотрела серии 3 еще где-то пол года назад и отложила. Со второго подхода однако я прониклась, стала смотреть дальше и потом серии с 12ой я уже не могла оторваться. Никита и Алекс просто набрали такие обороты, и мне так нравится что Алекс сделали ее подставным агентом, работающим изнутри, но не знающим всей правды. И что Никита при всей своей высшей миссии струсила просто эту правду ей рассказать. Человечная трусость но трусость тем не менее, что мне и нравится... вообще ангст между этой троицей красиво ведут. В общем, нравится мне сторителлинг и персонажи... ну и как Майкла ко 2ой половине первого сезона проявили тоже.

Эх, все находят другие сериалы, одна я сижу в суперах и никуда продвинуться не могу. Дин сожрал мой моск.
Я кстати в старом сериале не помню алекс, вернее не помню имя, для меня там парой была никита и её мальчик (это майкл наверное).
Что не написала, что приехала?

В старом сериале и не было Алекс. Это новый перс. Чем мне и нравится римейк что в нем совершенно новые реалии и как бы имена остались (как Старбак и Аполло), а харакеры и предыстория свои. Ники и Майкл это главный пейринг да, но у них здесь своя уникальная история и перепетии... и у Ники с Алекс своя, очень сложная и полная ангста... Никита-Майкл-Алекс - это троица сравнимая с Алишей-Уиллом-Калиндой. Очень красивая динамика между ними всеми на мой взгляд.

Oh thank you! I'm happy to hear from someone who also likes these characters :-) I found myself really invested in their evolution and where they're going... And each of the stories of their redemption and letting go of the past is amazing I think, and how they kind of have a chain reaction going through these stories. Nikita may be like a catalyst to the people she cares about but she's also part of revelations their presence or choices she can't predict trigger; she's also human and makes mistakes in her actions or way of thinking - that is what I like so much. Oh, and how she can grow... and for instance not make the same mistake of withholding info and depriving others like Alex or Micheal of being able to handle difficult situations time after time. What these people can do still scares her, the unknown scares her, but she does honestly want to treat them as equals. :-)

I really do love how all of them have had to overcome and accept their pasts, in both similar and different ways, and that thread of redemption and finding your true self is such a great part of the story. I wish more people were watching and that it wasn't always at risk of being cancelled. There's so much I love about it and I want it to stay on the air for a long time. *g*

Not enough people know about the show and how much heart and cool action it has indeed. I hope it gets renewed this year too! I only just started watching S3 and I really like how the creators are not afraid to take it in different directions each year, change the landscape so much. There was a big shift in S2 when more people started working with Nikita, and now that Division gets a second chance to live... it's also an entirely different era so to speak. And I do trust them to make it interesting and remain true to the characters. Not something I can say about other shows.
