Heading and Please Don't Give Me!

Dec 09, 2007 12:54

Is everyone having a good time starting on their stories? I've been giggling a lot over mine, which is always a good thing.

So, here's the format that I'm envisioning the headings to these posts looking like:
Author:
Title:
Rating:
Summary:
Spoilers/Warnings:
Present for:
The Request:
Any notes? You can then cut to an entry within the community or ( Read more... )

mod post, please don't give me

I don't suppose there's any reason I needed to post anonymously to ask this, but if we've got good plot ideas, and the beginning few hundred words for more than one of the prompts we've been given, can we write and post both stories for our recipient?

I really don't think I need to request not to have this, because my prompts were pretty happy ones, but I don't want to read angst without a happy ending. I want to read something happy (or with a happy ending) for the holidays. :)

My entitlement. Let me show you it. comixologist December 9 2007, 19:10:42 UTC
Thanks for putting up this thread!

I am not too worried about it coming up in my requests, but just in case I figure I'll give this no thanks thing a whirl. I love plot, and I know my first choice was kinda kinky-strange and full of potential for angst, but if you do go the angst route please don't make it a huge sob-fest. I love emotional impact and dark themes but if it's all angst all the way through I won't be able to take it seriously, and that will make me very sad. :(

If you're planning on tackling the mystery! prompt, character death is grand for starting off the shenanigans, but only if it's not Matt, Mohinder, or Molly. Dead-Molly is so many kinds of not okay. I seriously doubt this will be an issue at all, this ship tends to be all love and cuddles, but... you never know!

And, totally randomly, I do kinda prefer things in third person. And past tense. (It's arbitrary, I know.)

I'd prefer not to read character death or noncon. (Dubcon is all right.) Um... that's about it. ^_^

I know this isn't a concern at all, but as long as Matt and Mohinder aren't cruel to one another and don't die, I'm good. :) I doubt either of those would be produced from my plot bunnies, but thought I'd put it out there. ;)
