Thank you for picking up after slacker me, even though it was my idea. :( Bad mod! No cookie for me!

rlanto, thank you so much for the fantastic double CD! I love it! There's so much on there that I've never heard, and I'm falling in love with a different song every time I listen. :)

I'm sooo glad to hear it! There's so much of myself on that cd, I couldn't stop at just one! I can tell you awesome stories about how I found each one of those artists and what they mean to me, but I didn't want to bore you with a novel of a set of liner notes.

Homeland, of which I sent you two songs, is a local band to me in Dayton, OH. They tour nationally and internationally (going over to the Ireland and Scotland for two weeks). I randomly stumbled upon them when waiting to watch the Irish Academy of Celtic Dance Adult group perform. It was instant love.

Another group, the German group, was sent to me as a joke by my good friend Beckie, who knows that I detest hiphop music in general and thought I would get a kick out of them. Needless to say, I feel immediately in love. It does help that I speak German and know what they're saying. Instead of being fairly pointless, like I have found a lot of American hiphop music to be, it is generally semi-politically, nearly entirely philosophical. Their early stuff is mostly pointless and fun, but the song I sent you is about the cleansing effects of a summer rain - metaphorically about forgiveness. It's really brilliant and I love Thomas's voice. He's the guy who sings it.

Sorry, everything got posted a bit late and it's making it's way from the UK to you. Hope you find something you like on it when it finally arrives!

I really liked some of the tracks on the CD, thank you so much!

I am so very pleased! My mother forwarded all this stuff to me and as if I did the very least in this trade. Also your letter doesn't look like it was the first draft (as mine was). I'm going to listen to one of these on the way to work tonight. :D
