Future Plans?

May 29, 2007 23:11

I honestly have no idea what I'm going to do when I grow up. First thing that always comes to mind is art/fine arts/design. I mean, I like doing it, and would love going into that field. However, it's really tough to make it into a real job. It's either you're successful or you're not. And not many people are successful. In my opinion, art is ( Read more... )

No you're right! Basically what more are we than others if we hate just the same as they do?

wtFFFFfff i was thinking about future things too yesterday, and i cried so much because honestly, i don't know what i'm going to do with myself either. because as much as i thought i wanted to do biology, there's still that part of me that wants to continue doing art even though 1) it's SO DIFFICULT to succeed 2) it's not as secure [i guess] as studying/getting a job in like.. math/science 3) bio would be more helping, but i don't think i would have the passion i should have for it 4) it'll NEVER make my dad proud -_-

argjzslkdfjskldf :{ melissa, at least you have a year more than i do to think about it!! and during that time maybe you'll find something else you really want to do, or you'll find more confidence that art really is what you want. but either way, let's make it all positive, OKAY?!! :P

lol my cousin graduated from college about ten years ago, and now shes making six digits per year. the funny thing is, she didnt choose her major til a week before she left for college.

moral of the story? you still gots more than two years. there is no need to stress about college or careers right now.

hey, if you do, then youre gunna regret how you let high school slip by in a few years

if you still want a career though, try freelance art. those kinds of people get good money when other companies pay em to do art for ads and stuff like that. then when youre rich and successful, you can give me some money too :)

hey darling, I think the thing you were thinking of is basically saying like. Where's the challenge in loving your friends (people who love you back)? It's not hard at all. But it IS hard to love those who hate you or talk smack about you, and that's what we're supposed to do.

" 27"But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you," Luke 6:27

Mm, AKA one of the hardest things ever haha

Most people aren't really that decisive of their major in their college. Don't worry, you have time.
