H/C bingo card: loss of voice
Rensu moaned softly as the pain shoot through his body. He tried to center his thoughts but they would slip away like trying to catch a single leaf down a raging steam. His limps and arms felt heavy. The pain would plague every move he made. The floor felt cold against his covered skin.
His voice…
His voice was gone. Barely a whisper.
No matter how much he wanted to scream. Shout. Nothing came out but soft whispers under his breathe. He didn't realize how much missed the ability to talk until now. His naiisan probably would enjoy his silence. They would argue over silliest things. Food. Training. He lost count on how many flashes of annoyance appeared on his naiisan's face. He always felt a slight wave of pleasure from his reaction.
That might not happen anymore.
His thoughts drifted to the possible of him being a mirror image. A puppet. Those thoughts weren't pleasing at all.
His friends would save him. When he had the strength, he would glance out to look out one of the mirrors. His friends were in trouble and he could do nothing. Rio and his generals would win. His friends and his naiisan would be gone.
He hated this feeling.
It made him feel weak. He hated feeling weak.
He refused to do so.
He tried to force his body to move…to response…to any thing…something. The pain was his only answer. Sharp…all-comprising pain. The cold floor gave him the only sense of relief.
Suddenly, he felt something pull him up. A thought of panic full him. Could the monster returned? But he saw something out of the corner of his eye. It was purple and the presence felt familiar.
It felt like home.
In that moment, he knew that everything would be alright.
