So is that paper out of control, or under control?
Who's it it owned by?

I suppose it depends who you ask. Kristof had plenty of negative things to say in that very editorial about the New York Times and its habits of being too cautious with the government.

I think they operate with enough government skepticism that I can use them as my primary source of news in the morning, but I try to make sure that they are not my only source of news, especially for the most highly controversial issues
