Inty is asleep. The stars are dim, the city lights are shining, and the gardens are lit by pale lamps.

Melinda gets to Inty's world, and half-remembered words and sentences try to swim up from the past Melinda's memories. (in your own right)

She remembers the time she woke up when she was little, she remembered this lady with weird hair, and (then it is your name) waking up with the name 'Sthenyaer' floating around in her head. She forgot it, sadly, later on in the day. But then a month later she had the same dream, over again. But she forgot her Name. And then another month went past... And finally, finally she considered taking a notebook and writing down what her dreams were, for one month. She dreamt of Inty, and for some reason accidently wrote down Inty as 'Intie' but Melinda got her Name right.

Sthenyaer. To create.

And forever and ever, she'd hoped for adventure. For her entire life, she'd hoped that something exciting would happen. That she'd... that she'd find a reason or whatever for the name. The name that she couldn't find in any language.

Creation.

The girl stands there, and gnaws on her lip. What if Inty was

Still being asleep, Inty doesn't consciously notice Mel's arrival.

But the realm does.

A welcoming gust of wind swirls warmly around her, then veers away through the tall grass, ruffling the golden stalks. The path seems bright and happy, and the stars warm up when she looks at them. In the near distance the mind-city is glowing with light from every window. The buildings, from small and ancient cottages near the fringe of the city to towering glass-and-steel skyscrapers and magnificent Gothic clock-towers, seem to radiate welcome.

There's a kitten in the grass; it scampers across the path to meet Sthenyaer, making happy kitten noises.

Melinda remembers this place. Oh, christ, she remembers this place... Aaaaand kitten!

Sitting down, she holds out a hand to it. "Here kitty... Here kitty-kitty-kitty..." she mumbles, hands quivering. She's not scared of the place, but she's confused. It's weird. God, it's weird...

Maybe the kitten will help. Cats are good.

The kitten is happy to see Mel! Unlike a lot of people, it has no idea who she is, but that's okay, because she's very obviously a kitten person. Meow! Happy kitten! It bounds over and snuggles up to her hand. Cute kitteny purring ensues.
