Oh, very nice. I still don't know that I buy RDM's conception of Kara as the 'tomkat' of NewCap, but I can believe this version of Sam and Kara. (I kinda like that it's the guy pining away here. *g*)

This is great- Sam having to learn how much intimacy Kara can handle by trial and error. I think you've captured his conflict, and his suffering, well. I particularly love the tattoo snippet and that he actually went first, trusting her to follow through after even though it was clearly pushing her boundaries.

Honestly, unless we get a flashback showing her being the Ellen Tigh of NC (or her admitting it to someone), I pretty much refuse to believe it, too. I can work it, though (if I can make Kara gay for Sam Carter, I can do anything...). I just have to jump a few tracks in my mental history of How People Are. And get over Ron ruining my fluffy OTP. *stomps foot*

I am desperate to know which of them suggested the tattoos (if they weren't both drunk and mocking and left it up to the artist and then woke up all surprised and kinda disturbed). Sadly, we may never know.

And. YOU MUST FIX THIS. For I am depressed and I'm writing angsty Helo pseudo-Christmas fic and it's ALL YOUR FAULT. (And that bastard Ron too.)
