I Tivoed the Rupert Everett Holmes thing, because, dude, Rupert Everett as Sherlock Holmes, yay!

It's actually not bad, BUT OMG THE MENTAL DISCONNECT. And he does good looking like Holmes, with the ugly and the widow's peak.

I've never watched any of the Rupert Everett Holmes stuff from beginning to end, but I've caught bits of it. He's the first actor that I've been able to take seriously as Holmes as opposed to thinking he's a parody of Holmes.

and, see, I've never thought they were parodies. The Brett versions were always deadly serious, and gorgeously-shot.
