I do kind of wonder what she was doing when this was going down (don't really blame the show for not dealing with her; there was a lot of characters to manage already, but still) --- you'd think she'd have some idea of the right judge to go to and how to manage this whole takedown to reach the FBI and stuff. AND WAIT A SECOND. Wasn't one of their early Numbers a judge? the dude with the little boy was a judge right? Damn it, John, why didn't you tell Carter to go to him and not that jerkass traitor two eps ago???
I am such a sucker for Everybody Lives. =D (I'm pretty sure most of my BSG AUs include lots of alive people who are dead in canon)
I really couldn't figure out how to do the Elias reveal I can't believe canon made it canon omg--for some reason, I felt that Harold would be holding down the fort. So that left the last person they vaguely trust in New York.
(I think the judge moved away? I don't remember, it's been a while since I watched that one. Also, I feel like Carter deliberately chose a dirty judge, but that's probably not true, since her next port of call was the FBI)
