OH GOD!

I SAT THERE FOR LIKE 5 MINUTES JUST ASKING WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK

And JO! My bb. Like, I love her and Zane and I want them to end up happy and together and so adorable it makes you want to puke rainbows, but holy fuckballs am I happy to see her with a storyline that's not about that! Just...please don't be over 5 minutes into the new season, OK plotline? PLEASE????

The only thing I can think of in terms of Beverly's motives...her group is big on controlling scientific developments. Maybe the point is to strand Astreus so that they have to rely on her group for ground support? So they get all the info? IDK. But she has to have something to do with it, otherwise what was the point of specifically mentioning she'd managed to get some info downloaded from GD? I mean, I guess that could play out next season in something completely unrelated, but Occam's Razor...

AHAHAH. I think it was at least five minutes before I could coherently think again. It's the adrenaline rush.

I have my fingers crossed so hard about the return--for one thing, I was NOT expecting them to go this way, so I'm really surprised about it all (and pleased). I am trying not to hope, though.

And that is an excellent point--if Bev is in control, she gets all the data she wants without any of the go-between nonsense of ransacking GD again.

Jo, I figured she was going to go do a "walkabout" after talk w/ Taggert in the last ep. Her talk with Jack in the woods was further proof that she was thinking about leaving. Oh, she was absolutely beautiful in that final scene with him - talking about how Jack had grown since he'd come to Eureka and how he'd made it his home.

I know she'll be back, because Eureka is her home, but man, that scene just totally rocked.

I figured something would go wrong with the launch - it's Eureka, after all. I just didn't figure on Allison getting caught up in it. I gotta wonder if it's Beverly and her little band of merry makers. We had like no hint of them since the huge showdown where Jo & Zoe proved that they could save Eureka with the boys.

Man, only like 14 eps to go to wrap this all up - wonder if the x-mas ep will tie into it or be a standalone like last year was?

Damn you, syfy... you have proven once again that you're run by idjets! :(

Actually, Syfy renewed Eureka. It was Comcast, their parent company, which canceled it (according to Colin Ferguson, and one would assume he's more in the know of the behind the scenes stuff than we are)
