Yeah, this episode was a bit eh in some ways. Still fun but... I think it was because I have a difficult time taking Eliot seriously, and this ep was trying to make me take him very seriously indeed.

Also yes, the con was way too obvious, plus the Eliot HULK EYES OF RAGE thing was ridiculous.

I think it was the.. sort of lecture quality to it. (plus,um, I don't think fighting is exactly the best way for poor men to keep from, say, hitting their wives, or whatever the hell it was that Eliot was implying)

RAGE. yes.

It was kinda "meh" for me. But the part where Sophie shouts, "You've taken the safety off the gun!" and then we cut to Eliot looking like he's about to turn green and Hulk-smash all over the place was so ridiculous.

BWAHAHAHAH. Yes. That was the bit where I facepalmed (and then started envisioning a world where Eliot really did kill the guy, heheheh)

Yeah, I have no idea what happened in that last ep. The whole thing just felt off. Or maybe my standards are WAY high from the first ep. But, yeah. It lacked zing. Maybe it just took itself way too seriously. That's always trouble. We like cheese, Leverage writers!
