Oh. I love every single bit of this...not even old age will stop Kara and Sam from being, well, Kara and Sam.

I love the idea that Kara would be so drawn to the stones, and that they'd sing for her.

It's bittersweet, and hopeful, and just all around lovely.

And you threw in Hera with Nicky! <3

Yay! They totally snuck in there, the two of them with their ridiculousness and all.

Kara is such a...religious person? I guess that's the term for it. I can see the stones being drawn to her as much as she is to the stones, and before her, Roslin and possibly Caprica, too. Sigh. Hrm.

And I couldn't resist the Hera and Nicky connection.

Aaaaaawwwww. They're such a cute old couple! I can totally buy them growing old and grumpy, and still being themselves.

P.S. So, what kind of hell will break loose when Mr and Mrs Agathon find out their pride and joy is having sex in a field of stones?

I haven't decided yet. Possibly grounding (which Hera will object to, at her age).

I discovered, at some point, that I tend to like making Kara and Sam ancient, yet still cranky and cute. They may shoot me, one of these days.

What a lovely atmosphere you created here. I like these quiet moments in her head, and I can imagine they'd come more and more frequently as she gets older.

But, of course, you won my heart at having her still be with her husband, the falling apart Cylon, still teasing him mercilessly and frakking his brains out. :)

Thank you. =) I tend to think Kara has the quiet moments, even now, but she's just good at ignoring them and burying them under Starbuck and sarcasm.

I swear they weren't going to have sex, although I'd had the idea he'd follow her and do the flopping on the grass thing. BUT NO. NO, they were both like, "dude, what do we normally do? Oh, hey, it's not raining yet..."

So I gave up on there not being sex. Sigh.
