He's all that is hot... but he's hotter with Kara. The tattoo seems so lonely.

Clearly, I'm a crazy Kara fangirl.

Oh, I'm all over the fact that Kara makes him hotter. But having watched the makeout session three times through, it IS hot.

I kind of wish Tory wasn't such a big part of the grand reveal, mainly because I don't feel invested in her at all. Not even Tory/Sam can make me care much about her.

heh. And I like her. But I'm a sucker for hot women.

True. Solace.

BUT VERY HOT SOLACE.

(I'm sorry, I know you and Kara/Anders. I can't help it!)

You might have! But I didn't remember that.

GOD, SO HOT.

I'm behind on BSG watching. But for this? Must catch up, yes, and fast.

There's this bit, where he's kissing her, and this little sigh comes from her and--

Sadly, most of it hasn't been worth it.

Really?

I got the squick vibe when they were kissing. I compared the way he kisses Kara and he's full engage, but with Tori he looked like he was trying to avoid kissing her mouth.

Maybe I'm disappointed his frak buddy of choice wasn't Jean *pouts*

(um, I followed your link from hotcupofanders)

Oh, he's definitely doing some avoidance, and I don't think he's happy. But he's pretty and so is she.

Also, I'm kind of wondering if he called her Kara, because I think this was post-sex, and neither of them seemed to be all that happy about things. (which would make me hysterically amused)

Jean is in a corner, with a bottle and Billy the Cylon (who is very trainable), catcalling Sam for his lame choice in women. She figures she can get away with that until Kara comes back from the grave.

Maybe this is Sam with women in general? After all, he would've had a healthy selection being a pro-athlete (I guess). I have a feeling that Kara might've been the first time he really fell in love :-)

But he's pretty and so is she.

Very true. And she has very beautiful hair and lovely skin (and looks uncannily like my old best friend from high school). But being pretty isn't enough for me. I need the actors to have chemistry otherwise I go into a coma from sheer boredom. Cally and Tyrol have ZERO chemistry (but their baby is perfection so I'm fine with them being together). Lee and Dee have even less. Sharon and Helo have great chemistry which is what saves them as a couple for me because I've never been overly invested in their storylines.

But maybe I'm judging too fast. Sam/Tory might get some good development in season 4 and the actors will warm up to each other?

Also, I'm kind of wondering if he called her Kara, because I think this was post-sex, and ( ... )

I tend to think Sam kind of... idealized her, but with limits. And even when they weren't speaking, she was pretty much his whole world. But then, I'm not sure Sam wants connections with other people, not the lasting kind, anyway.

And certainly not now. *g*

Chemistry is in the eye of the beholder. I, for instance, think Sam and Chief have more chemistry than Kara and Lee. But that's because Trucco really does bring the boyslash.

I'm fairly certain Sam spent a good 60% of that four months on New Caprica drunk, or unconscious at the Tyrols'. Tory only called him 'Anders' back then, so I doubt they knew each other well. And, honestly, at that point? I'm pretty sure Sam was hell-bent on kicking the Cylons' asses so he could get his wife back. Not on getting solace.

Jean misses peanuts.

I gotta agree that I'm not seeing the chemistry between Tory and Sam, and I hope that they aren't a real thing next season. They don't do it for me. He just seems to be so not interested her... Kara captivates him, I think, and makes him light up. I can totally see him calling another woman Kara when he comes, or not saying anything at all. For me, Sam's all about the Kara, and him without her just makes him seem less Sam-like. He seems smaller, somehow, without her. Smaller and so sad.

But yeah, I think he spent the time Kara was shackled up with Leoben concentrated on getting his wife back at any cost. Sam's always been 100% dedicated to Kara.

Sam IS all about Kara. Sadly, I doubt Ron cares.
