On Neverwhere - that's great news to hear! I have it sitting on my coffee table at home, ready to start after I finish American Gods. I'm glad you recommended it!

American Gods is next on my list. You'll have to let me know what you think of it.

Here's what I think: It's worth the read.

However, it took me about 200 pages to get into the book. *shaking head* The premise is neat, and I've been promised that the payoff is worth it... *grin* Now that I'm about 3/4 of the way through the book, though, I'm glad I've read it this after... it was just really difficult to get into, I found. ;-) Good luck!

Neverwhere is fantastic, I actually read it *while* I was in London... it's so much fun to read about the Earl's Court train while you're on the train to Earl's Court.

And American Gods is way more serious than Neverwhere, but just as amazingly written and absorbing.

Oh, that must have been such a trip reading that while in London! I'm looking forward to American Gods now.

All I've read by Neil Gaiman is American Gods, which was good but a little long, i.e. there were long passages that bored me where he seemed like he was just trying to show off how smart he was. But the actual story was well-written and enjoyable. I'll have to read Neverwhere at some point.

"A closer look at these studies in language units which were educationally based, reveals that the youngest children at entry were 3;6 years old (mean age of 6 years)."

hope you don't mind the random comment (I'm a friend of Closertomyself)I like the idea, but I only had text books on my desk!
