i like windmill cookies and i am definitely not dutch. or so my parents tell me. but then they'd probably hide the truth from me as long as possible... so, did you have some issue with people not knowing what windmill cookies are? cuz that IS weird.

Yes. I was talking to friends from Oklahoma and Texas and they'd never seen/heard of them and I was like "That's madness!!" But it would seem that Florida does have windmill cookies.

Michigan is Dutch so it doesn't matter if you are or not (it only makes it worse if you are. like me) because everywhere you go, you see Dutch so it's no big thing.

I've talked to people who hadn't heard of Squirt, the soda, too. I mean ... how bizarre!!!!

Voortman! Yes!! Those're the ones I've got. My work place sells a ton of Voortman cookies!
