Quantumfic: A story which could have happened in the actual storyverse, had things gone just a bit differently, i.e. the road not taken.
Omake: An extra or bonus story; occurs in the actual storyverse. Provenance.
Drabble: A very short fic; classically taken to mean a piece of fiction of only one hundred words. I use it more loosely to describe short pieces of fiction, generally for works under five hundred words long, and also for things that are off-the-cuff.
Ficlet: A short fic, generally five hundred to a thousand words long.
