Livejournal is a desolate place with a few friends still actively writing but most accounts have been silent for nearly a decade.  I miss the community that was here but it has been literally 15 years since I started.  I have not talked to some of you in ages.  I suspect most will not even see this

Hello! I think the "problem" with LJ as it stands is the mild concern that archive binging by people new to my journal would show me in a negative light--and only then because *I* have forgotten most of what's in my archive.

I friends-locked when the parents-in-law found LJ and started reading their kid's journal. Grandpa-in-law actively reads said offspring's journal.

Every so often, I ran a script that moved everything to private and all public to friend-only. I'm not sure if I want to do that now though. And yeah, it's been so long. I don't know if I want people to interact with my old posts.
