Considering that Palin has been brought in, in part, to stem the threat of the one the Conservatives keep calling "the One," I don't think the comparison to Pilate is inappropriate at all.

I don't really know much about Palin except that she apparently is a member of a Pentecostal church that speaks in tongues... which is enough for McCain and Palin to have lost any chance at my vote they may once have had...
