Someone, get me a fan!

It's way past midnight and it's still 25C (77F) outside. That's just not right. It's these few hot summer days (all three of them) that make me wish we had air conditioning. Most of the time there's no point in having one, but goddammit, I'm melting and I want it!
Should be 30C (around 80F) tomorrow. Please, someone, kill me now.

I finally saw Read more... )

Old news already, but I have to say that AfterEllen's readers have a fantastic taste in women.

Yes, I quite liked much of the list. And that pic of Kate Winslet. HOT.
I would have also added Patricia Vico (Hospital Central's Maca Fernandez).

Waking The Dead continues to be my new fandom obsession. And while Play.com's being a bitch and selling Series 4 for £30 (gah!), I'm just going to rewind the adorable Frankie/Mel hug over and over and over again; despite the soddin' pole in the frame.

Hospital Central is my current fandom obsession. :)

Oh, Patricia Vico totally owns everybody

Hospital Central is my current fandom obsession.

Hee! I've noticed *g* I don't really blame you, Hospital Central is a highly addictive series. I still haven't had time to watch the new season 13 episodes, though, but hopefully I'll get there during the summer.

Bah, you southern Finnish have no real winter to speak of. ;) -25C is a fine winter weather you get around these latitudes all the time at January. Not to mention a whole lot of more snow that lasts longer.

But yes, it has been quite warm lately. Too warm, sure. Especially in my place where the morning sun heats the wall for many hours and makes it impossible to sleep. *has a fan, and it's not helping much* ;)

Actually, our winters can be colder than yours, thanks to the Baltic Sea. The humidity of the winds blowing from the sea can easily make -10C feel like -30C on the skin, and the freezing breeze gets through your clothes much more easily than just low temperature. This is scientific fact :p

I don't even have a fan! *sulks*

I do live on a coast as well.

Buy one less DVD this month and save for a fan. ;)

I do live on a coast as well.

True, but the effect is greater here because the Gulf of Bothnia gets significantly narrower in the north.

Buy one less DVD this month and save for a fan.

I'm not that desperate :p

"Lesson learned: never get first row balcony tickets."

It has happened to me two times. Annoying.

I never get my tickets from the first two rows if there's other better places about. ;)

Yeah. This was first time for me and I'm going to make sure I never make that same mistake again.

Asiasta toiseen.

Nam! Harmi, ettei välähtänyt jo Irlannissa :p
