I'm completely and utterly addicted to Murder In Suburbia again. ♥ Watched and capped the entire Series 1 in one day and now I'm this close to doing the same with Series 2. Anyway, every sane person should watch this show. Why? Let me tell you...
1. Ash
Hotness and all sorts of brilliance. And her observations are priceless: "You know what I like about suburbia? The effortless way it all works - deceit, murder, wife-swapping. And still the hedges get trimmed."
2. Scribbs
Scribbs is an adorable spazz and you simply can't help liking her.
3. Brilliant writing
[talking about Scribbs' wardrobe problem]
Ash: "Why don't you just wear what I told you to wear?"
Scribbs: "Because on you it works. On me...I look like someone from Atomic Kitten trying to pretend she got A-levels."
[about an undercover job gone bad]
Sullivan: "She also claims you hit her with a frying pan."
Scribbs: "Actually, boss, it was a wok!"
4. Random undercover assignments aka 'Doing it Charlie's Angels style'
Undercover job in a restaurant. The result: The suspect walked out free and pressed charges against Scribbs for assaulting her with the wok mentioned above.
What a better way to fit in than taking part in a dating agency's "Back to High School" ball?
5. The way Scribbs sits
Seriously. It's just so damn...
...butch! *licks her lips*
6. Eye-shagging
Yeah. You get my point.
7. Matching wardrobe
Femslash 101. Scribbs totally had to use Ash's closet that morning.
8. Scribbs' wandering eyes
Scribbs, you're so subtle.
9. Random smiling
Cuteness!
10. Scribbs' obvious crush on Ash
Awwww! Scribbs has a tiepin for Ash too.
*dies of cuteness* While Ash was asking some questions from a suspect, Scribbs stole them both a cookie! X3
This show is just too perfect. *happy sigh*
Lately I've been very much into Criminal Minds again. >D So much so that I started writing a fic I've had an idea for since March. Apparently they won't kill Elle off after all [her name appeared on some press releases earlier this week], so I can breathe a little easier now. *is a pathetic fangirl* Eeee! I can't wait for Season 2 to begin! Only 1,5 months of waiting left.
Some spoilers of CSI: New York's third season have also emerged:
I can't believe they are actually planning on getting Danny and Lindsay together canonically [is that a word?]. >______< NOOOOO! This is like paring up Sam and Daniel in Stargate. Just...No. I mean, even if I wasn't a femslasher, I'd feel this way. Get Sam and Martin from Without A Trace together any day, but this is just wrong. Gah! *sulks*
And to wrap up my fangirly rambling, I need to mention this new and shiny sci fi show,
Eureka. After three episodes the general idea of the show still intrigues me; it definitely has potential. And if nothing else,
this is a good enough reason to keep watching. Mmmmm... Women + uniforms = perfection. *wipes drool from keyboard*
