It's almost like I have a life.

There's this insanely hot security guard at my work and I realised yesterday that she looks exactly like Laura Harris. Only, even hotter if that's possible. It's probably the uniform which is like kryptonite to me. Too bad she couldn't be more out of my league. *le sigh*

On a much, much more serious note, one of the rare reasons I absolutely ( Read more... )

This picspam made me really happy...and then really sad. I feel worse about Silvia and Pepa than I did when BSG ended.

Maybe Silvia will come back mid-season as a villain but she'll have lost her memory due to the trauma of dying and being revived. Pepa will totally save her with the power of ~love~.

There are days when I'm almost fine with the way they ended the Pepa/Silvia storyline (it was beautiful, after all), but then I see Silvia and I'm ready to strangle the writers again. Such injustice!

Yes, amnesia! Or witness protection. Or anything.

Yeah, the law is hardly perfect everywhere else. The thing that truly gets me here is the biased way our law treats, say, a rapist and a person who commits a tax fraud. A first time rapist might get four years, but only serves half of it (because he's a fucking first timer). For tax fraud the sentence can easily be 10+ years, which is just ridiculous.

Also why should the lovely 'Laura Harris' guard be out of your league?

Because she's like this goddess walking among us, and I'm always wearing awful clothes & looking sweaty and disgusting when I see her? :p

Haha, if I were you, I won't be getting any work done with someone like that around! Also, did I just make this up, or did you post about another hot security guard a while ago? Because if you did, it must be some awesome gene pool that your security guards are coming from :D

On a much, much more serious note, one of the rare reasons I absolutely despise Finland is this.

Damn, that's fucked up. To say the least.

Also, gosh, Silvia is HOT. And I have in no way been drooling over the keyboard.

Since phrase "hot security guard" triggers an all hands on deck reaction in me, I have noticed a trend of hot security guards around the globe. And maybe you're referring to the security guard Race was talking about a while ago? But anyway, yay for hot security guards, yay for hot!Silvia and extra big yay for hot!Silvia in a uniform.

I concur! There's only this one female guard at my work, though, but the others I've seen elsewhere have been mighty fine as well.

Tell me about it! It's actually a blessing that she's not around all the time, but only makes sporadic appearances throughout my shifts. I don't get too distracted from work. :D Hmm... I might have mentioned this guard before, but it must've been last summer when I first saw her.

Wah, Silvia! ♥

I can't imagine LHdP without Silvia.

I really can't imagine it either. Sure, I'll watch (angst!Pepa indeed!), but I doubt it'll be my #1 priority on Thursdays from now on. Oh, the injustice!

You're 80% happy because of school?

Yes, because I'm a geek & always feel like that after the summer. Give it a week or two and it'll be down to 50%. ;)

I was wondering why Laura Harris sounded familiar, then I remembered this. She's Lauren and not Laura, though. (I have gig photos too, from January, which I have not yet - ahem - had time to put online yet.) And doesn't dress in uniform.

And, re the article, it was my pleasure. :)

Kivat prosentit! :)

Ooo! Lauren Harris sounds good! I definitely need to find out more. The name sounds familiar, but I don't think I've ever really listened to her music.

She was opening for Within Temptation a couple of years back, which is when I discovered her, and then she came around to Tavastia this January on her own tour. It was tuesday night that second and not many people, so not sure if she'll come back, but was nice for us who were there. The music is maybe a bit unoriginal but still nice for what it is. She used to have the funniest/best showman drummer I've ever seen, but unfortunately he's not with her any longer.
