This version is very intriguing, can't wait to read more. I wish we could've seen the whole pilot, but that's what fandom's for, lol. I kinda wish you had Curt sing "Oh you're such a creep" lol, but oh well, the "smell like a..." would've also had to change. XD I love the family of C's, haha.

I actually agree almost completely. It's just wrong to think of this as BTR without Kendall, you know? So yes, I totally know how you're feeling. Writing this was actually really weird because, like-- it's not wacky. I almost had to remove all traces of the wackiness/craziness/hijinkiness that BTR is known for just to capture the feeling that the clips had. I dunno, it's just odd.

actually, Kendall just might come into the picture soon. Because with Curt taking the place of Kendall, well. Who's going to be Dak Zevon? ;)

Haha, I was thinking of writing some AU fic based on the alternate pilot as well so this made me happy :D

I think you've got a pretty good handle on how things are different with a group of skaters with Curt in the mix as opposed to a hockey team with Kendall at the head, so I can't wait to see where this goes.
