Thanks so much! There's quite a dearth of John/Jim in this fandom and I'm rather drawn to the idea of them together. Hope to have the next installment up soon, as well as a few other John/Jim & John/Sherlock fics I'm working on. :)

Thanks for commenting. :) There's not enough John/Jim in this fandom (especially consensual John/Jim).

There's a bit more about their kiss in Chapter 2 and the full back story is coming in Chapter 3...

I've been looking up Jim/John for a long time now, and this is probably one of the best stories I've ever read.

Thank you so much! This made me realise I hadn't posted the link to Part 2. Going to do that now.

P.S. I've been working on Chapter 3 for some time now (it's been a beast because not only have I been ill, but I've also been struggling with the time-jumping that happens in that chapter [which is proving to be quite a challenge], plus I had to decide whether or not I wanted to incorporate the new BBC-canon from Series 2) but hope to have it finished soon. :)
