Riding a bike is, surprisingly, not "just like riding a bike"

I bought a bike today, and I'm terrified. Don't get me wrong, I love it already - it's small and ugly, but like a tiny annoying dog you get as a birthday present it's grown on me because it's mine. And there's really no excuse for living here and not having one
