Drabble for Lionille: Odd things and troublesome beasts (Neville/Charlie)

So, you know how I was attempting to write a drabble for everyone on my friend-of list? I haven't forgotten about it, except that Deathly Hallows and all the LJ hoo-ha distracted me for a while.

This one's for lionille. *hugs* Neville/Charlie, G, 270 words.

I loved this line:
Neville realises (with his heart beating fast for Charlie) that it's worth it
and the picture of Neville sleeping next to the MM
and the idea of Neville's plants being used as balms for Charlie.

I never thought about the possibility of Charlie/Neville, but this makes so much sense! It's adorable how they would never engage in the activity of their partner, but understand why their partner would be so interested in it. It's really the recipe for a fantastic relationship.

Yes, Neville and Charlie have always struck me (from what little we see of Charlie in the books) as being very compatible, despite their differences.
