I do! I do love your Longbottoms, and this is no exception! Oh, Neville. It's so like him to write letters to his poor parents, and the detail of addressing one or the other depending on the issue is so sweet. And I can totally see those bravery points being a turning point in his feelings about school. And the P.S. is just priceless.

I also appreciated your sneaking in a reference to Ron knowing everything about school. From your keyboard to Kloves' ears.

Yay, so glad you liked it! I will always love JKR for making Neville win Gryffindor the cup in that first year. And, heh, I'm glad you liked the PS. It was a bit of a last minute addition! Also, YES, about Ron. I think we should kidnap Steve Kloves and make him read all the Ron bits in the books - and utter threats about what might happen should he give any more of his best lines to Hermione!

Oh, this was so cute! You really captured the tone and that age group. Of course my favourite bit was:

Pansy Parkinson says toads are really unfashionable now, but Trevor's cool, I think. Gran says you used to have a toad at school, Dad, so I'm carrying on that tradition, as well as borrowing your wand!

but I'm biased. =) I also like it because it hints at the sadness to do with Neville's wand, without stating it too loudly. Really quite lovely.
