Firstly, I apologise if anyone feels like I'm ignoring them at the moment. I'm back to my sleeping five hours a night thing, plus I've got loads of work on, so when I get to LJ I'm really not very lucid. Anything requiring more than a few seconds' thought along the lines of David Tennant=pretty is...a bit beyond me at present. So I'm not ignoring ( Read more... )

*nods* This could well be one of the major benefits of having done this exercise...

Incidentally, thank you for volunteering to do this along with me! Your company, and discussing the experience with you, made it all much more enjoyable than it could have been :-)

Well, thank you for the idea, and the company! I'd have fallen off the wagon and stayed there a couple of weeks ago if not for the pressure to report in to someone else :).

It sounds like a really worthwhile exercise... I've found that I've become much more of a consumer now I've got a house that seems to eat all my money, even on non-essentials that I wouldn't have considered spending on before. Perhaps I should re-assess my needs and wants too, before they engulf me!

Well, house-buying is necessarily one of the most expensive things you can do - outside of the mortgage, I mean. All those new rooms to decorate and fill!
