Pulp! This is v exciting! I was trying to read the paper over someone's shoulder and wasn't quite sure if it was true or not. Yaaay!! They will never not be awesome!

Ooh, I've been meaning to read Lois McMaster Bujold for ages now - I think it's the time to invest.

Bujold is a little overfond of adverbs, but otherwise her prose is really beautiful and smooth, her books are peppered with strong female characters and she's a brilliant storyteller...so yes, highly recommended! (I definitely prefer her Vorkosigan books to her high fantasy ones, though.)

I'm still bouncing about Pulp, yay!

Bujold! <3

I'm excited for Cryoburn -- worried that I won't remember enough about the books to enjoy it, though! I haven't read the Vorkosigan saga since ninth grade ... !

I was really worried that I would go back to the books and tear them to shreds, but so far they're standing up to rereading, bar the odd extraneous adverb. She's a wonderful storyteller! I say you should embrace Cryoburn, and then reread if you have to/can. :)
