Yay! I'm glad you finally got to see Star Trek. :-) If you haven't found it yet, I recommend yahtzee63's LJ as a good place to dip your toes into fic-reading in the reboot!verse - she's got several drabble challenges going (3 rounds to date, I believe) to encourage exploring the various characters and relationships.
