Yes. And they're insanely fancy nowadays, with all sorts of new technology. So awesomeeee.
It's just a way to differentiate the two basic types. And YEAH they are cool looking. But I've seen too many dudes riding them with only a t-shirt and jeans to respect their decisions. fghgfjfgj Keep the sport bikes with the professionals.
SO COOL LOOKING. No no no they must wear the fancy fancy helmets with full blown leather suits. THAT IS WHEN THEY ARE APPROPRIATE. But yeah it's way too dangerous ):
The community is what's always kind of a draw for me. Not that I think I could get on a motorcycle, I'm scared of everything laksdjflasdf.
But how cool is it to meet those people who just get on their bikes and ride all over the country? Plus, because you have some sort of cred for riding a bike, I'd like to think you get to do all these supermegaawesome things that tourists don't normally get to do when you visit other places. I just wanna listen to their stories and be cool like them. *__*
Yeah, the community is definitely one of the most interesting things. I mean, just passing other people riding motorcycles on the road, the nods or hand waves, (or in one particularly interesting moment, the steely glare from a really old man) was enough to make me think.
Where I live there's a motorcycle festival every year, so it's kind of funny that I've seen a lot of the community for myself, and I agree that they're awesome and have the best stories.
Ack, I'm jealous because I don't know anyone who owns a motorcycle. I guess they're probably pretty popular in Austin, but on campus you mostly just see bicycles and vespas, rather than motorcycles.
