I am not at all surprised the woman was cold and unfriendly. That was my case at my old office - once they started moving up the foodchain, the women got mean and cranky.

Good luck, regardless!

So it's a peek at my future. Wonderful.

The thing is, this is specifically an interview for the company to hire more women. They found plenty of women to talk about how great it is being a woman working here, so why didn't they use the same finding skills to find women engineers who will interview and aren't bitches about it?

You could be like me as a supervisor - nothing really changes, you just get stern when necessary.

Maybe she's the only woman engineer?

I saw a lot of them interviewing. But I also heard I wasn't the only one who'd gotten a bad one, so maybe they are all bad at interviewing. Bleh.

i think a lot of women assume they must be cold and hard to be taken seriously. I hate having women in interviews some times I swear.

good luck and hey see what colorado wants

*points to response to ELD* You'd think that since this entire weekend of drinking the kool-aid was to hire (and promote) more women, they'd take the time out to find the friendly ones to interview with.
