And the only way to get better at it is to continue talking to people (I hate talking to strangers but you can't tell it...I'm introverted and shy in person - but I put on a persona and fake it).

Well yes, but that assumes I can get to the interview part (haven't yet). The "talking to people" part I loathe the most is the socializing/networking part.
