Even Hand's the short story from Marcone's POV. It's a really interesting one, and gives us a nice look at Marcone and Hendricks and Gard.

Besides, we get plenty of Murphy, and Lara's best in small doses.

I reread the Babysitters Club books now and I can admit they're terrible, but for a kid they were good. With lots of girls to identify with who go through normal teen girl problems (except with a little more narrative drama). I mean, they're the same writing quality as Twilight, except without glorifying abuse and creepy boyfriends.

Yes Murphy we don't need more of, she's used plenty and agreed about Lara.

The BSC do not hold up at ALL upon reread, but I still maintain they were crucial in developing my love of reading.

I KNOW. I will take the cookie cutter BSC over Bella Swan any day of the week.

Because, you know for all the boys and the race fail and the everything else of the BSC, at the end of the day they leaned on friends rather than creeper 100 year old virgin vampires.
