I'll admit that I might have hypochondriac tendencies. (serialkarma commences hysterical laughing). I don't run to the doctor for every little sniffle though, cause I really don't like going to the doctor at all. I'm the type of hypochondriac who gets a headache and immediately thinks I have a brain tumor, but doesn't get it checked out because of the ( Read more... )

IUD: 1, Pills: Trash.

I still don't get exactly how it works, but from what I've read I like the fact that it seems more... natural. I didn't like the idea from the start of putting artificial hormones into my body to regulate what should be a very natural process. I mean, any birth control does that to an extent, I guess.

So it's comfortable? You can't feel it? Do you ever worry about it slipping around or anything?

Is there such a thing as TMI here? ahahahah, NO. heee.

Okay, this is all GREAT information. Thank you! It's good to know all the pros and cons (esp for the partner). But I mean, hell, a little irritation for the guy is a lot better than getting pregnant (when you don't want to be). And actually, that thought did cross my mind and it's something I'll ask my doctor, but if the guy is really deep inside you does that affect it. I think I need to go find a diagram...

(thank you!)

I was forced to strip naked in the doctors office and then walk across the hall on the cold floor to get weighed

THIS is the part where I commence hysterical laughing and you know why.

First of all, YAY FOR QUITTING SMOKING!! (And I hope you stick with it, even if you're off the pill.)

Second, OMG *HUGS*! How fucking scary!

Third, ... I, um, had my tubes tied. Probably not the option you'd go for.

Heee, I'm not ready to get my tubes tied QUITE yet.

re, Smoking: I was *so ready* to quit this time. I've tried before but this time has been a lot different. I still miss it, but I'm not craving it anymore. I am determined this time to last!

See I'd off you advice, but I'm not using any birth control (it's not exactly needed...), and have only been on the pill in the past (mainly for medical reasons). So...yeah.

On the other hand, *waves*
