Before I tell you about my date with Subway Guy, we've come to point in the story where he needs must graduate to a new name. Now, I'd thought about what I was going to call him in case this went past a couple of dates, and I hadn't quite decided when suddenly I was presented with the obvious choice of nicknames ( Read more... )

Oh, go You! Yay for slow and steady and second date and hopefully making out!

And I totally understand what you mean about the Thinking - I have a friend getting a PhD in philosophy, and sometimes I just roll my eyes, cuz who the fuck Cares? I love contemplation, but real life is good, too -- hopefully he's got his piratical practicalities :) (um, performing as a pirate for children? omfgadorable!).
