fungus face makes a comeback
My boss (heretofore: Little Corporal) just called one of the other guys in the office "fungus face". Like, to his face. I just... yeah.
The opera was wonderful the other night. serialkarma wound up going with me, and I might have gotten overly excited when they brought out the horses on stage.
No word from Subway Guy, alas! I'm thinking now is the time to move along...
Here's an exchange from the other day:
Me: You know what I really want? A stuffed baked potato.
Cici: Oh, Lauren always gets those.
*CiCi buzzes in on Lauren's intercom and asks, without preamble: "Where do you get your big potato?"
There was an uncomfortable pause while Cici shifted in her chair and looked at me. "Oh. Uh. Thanks," she said into the phone and hung up.
"Little Corporal was in there." She laughed nervously. "He said she gets it at The Baked Potato Department at Go Do Your Work."
